'Tis the season to SHOP! Come to The Big Gay HOLIDAY Market and shop from dozens of queer vendors! From pottery to paintings, alpaca socks to amigurumi, coffee to candles, and more - The Big Gay Market has all your gift needs covered!

We will be serving coffee, hot tea, our famous vegan cocoa, and a small assortment of baked goods. Plus, we’ll also be there as Alexandra Art+Design!

The event will have heated indoor AND heated outdoor shopping, a beer and wine bar, food carts, hot drinks, and disposable masks!

The market runs from 10am to 4pm on December 16th! Get there early to get the best goods!

No previous art experience required. All supplies are provided. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Workshop is approximately 2 hours.

Do you love crochet but want to do something other than make scarves and blankets? This class will introduce you to some weird, funky, and fun ways to bring crochet into your life and home. Participants will embellish a simple object with simple crochet stitches, transforming it into something completely new. Some objects to be embellished will be provided, however, students are encouraged to bring an object or two of their own to experiment with. Objects might include: bones, sticks, wood, old knick-knacks, broken things, etc.

Some crochet hooks and thread/yarn will be available for use. Students are asked to please bring their own materials if they are able.

NOTE: This class is for individuals who already know how to crochet and can perform one or two stitches without instruction(chain stitch and single crochet). Workshop is approximately 2 hours.
